I don't ever remember hearing talk like that in 1982 Wasn't paying as much attention back then, but that would be something you'd remember. I was out of work in 1981/82 It was a completely different economy at that time. We weren't blowing bubbles, ----- “This is what always happens at this stage of the cycle,” Biggs said. “We are at exactly the same stage in the cycle as we were in 1982, using the exact kind of words: ‘The U.S. economy is collapsing, the world is collapsing, it’s the worst time since the Great Depression.’ Blah, blah, blah.”
