Kitaro is good, maybe a little dramatic/orchestrated for me. I actually have more 'new age' music than any other type here on the computer. (rock & roll wins if you count vinyl, that's a generational thing). The new age I like tends to be either simpler (minimalist/repetitive-Philip Glass and many others) or more energetic/edgy (Tangerine Dream and many others). I mention those two only because they are early examples of musical approaches within the new age genre. While I have records by both, recently I've been listening to Ulrich Schnauss, B. Flieshman, William Orbit. There are so many. Yanni is one who sometimes is over orchestrated for my tastes and sometimes lets himself go.
