Clinton is full of it. Bill Clinton did not know Byrd in West Virginia------the fact is that the KKK was active for many years in America, including West Virginia. As I understand Byrd's life the KKK came before he ever ran for office. Did Byrd change as he got older, yes I think that Byrd began to understand that we are all people without respect to the the color of our skins. Clinton is deliberately making excuses for Byrd for the KKK-----why??? Is Clinton afraid that the truth will tarnish the Democrat Party----that Democrats have politicians who were considered racists and members of the KKK in earlier years? Once again we have Clinton--------"I did not have sex with that woman."
