I wouldn't say Canaccord is shorted CYP, they just own a pile of it. Remeber they've got at least 1,117,662 shares at $0.60 (from the latest news release) so all this stock they're selling, they own(or have access to by excercising warrants). I know we don't like the selling, but thats how firms like Canaccord make/raise money. The greater the cash position of Canaccord the bigger the stock position they can get (via financing), they have to liquidate this stock to get back into a cash position (even if they like the company, they're still going to dump alot of stock).

It really bites sometimes, but that's how these markets work.
