I just answered your note to yourself before this one...Thanks for a great review of Beck's new book.....Say what you will about the guy, he is really starting to educate the people on History, particularly American History, that they didn't get in school, or if they did, paid not one wit of attention to it....
My hubby and I discussed him a bit on our way over the passes to Levenworth on Friday. He thinks Beck is sometimes over the top. I agree, BUT that is just how he gets people to listen. He is an *entertainer* first, but along with that, has a real message. Most comedians get people to listen to them, and get their message, however subtle it is, by comedy....i.e. Bill Cosby, Red Skelton, Bob Hope, etc....
Beck doesn't 'preach' AT you like Huckabee does. Beck makes me want to know more, and sometimes I want to prove him wrong. So far, I've found he and his 10 staff folks do a darn decent job of researching the subject for the program Beck is doing!!
