"A strong economy seems to be the basis where the people of a nation can enjoy the maximum freedoms." in truth you have the cart before the horse here. freedom is absolutely necessary to a strong economy. freedom must come first, then a good economy will naturally follow. china is a good example to look at. as they have inched toward freedom their economy has responded. and the more freedom they allow, the stronger their economy gets.
