I think we are all entitled to opinions- and I'm pleased to hear yours.
To the extent that Obama was (to an extent) surrounded by those some find radical does carry much water for those of us who find Obama's campaign rhetorical to be a vacuous means of getting elected.
We, who campaigned ardently for Obama are very concerned that he has revealed himself to be more right that either Clinton or Nixon.
Marxism and Socialism are buzz words that most who use them can't define. They are spoken with the intent to inflame.
I don't see how we can have a discussion when we can't define o our terms. Obama's corporitist, centralist, endeavors to compromise and lack of testicles certainly doesn't qualify him as a Marxist, Socialist or Lefty.
I'm very curious as to what you understand a Marxist to be.
What you accuse Obama to be I wish he was, but your saying so, and my wishing so,unfortunately doesn't make it so.
BTW, If I had been elected with Obama's mandate, I would say, "Sorry, right wing, we won. You lost. Get out of the way. It's time to fix the mess Reagan created and was perpetuated by Bush, Clinton and Bush."
That's what I was expecting, but we certainly didn't get.
And finally, as you look at Obama's popularity numbers, know that at least half of those who voted for him who thought he was a Liberal no longer support his polices. |
