Z, > The TVA and rural electrification. How did that "work" in the past? The TVA didn't do anything to lift America out of the Great Depression. It was a make-work project designed to keep some Americans busy. Not only that, but it was the means by which FDR vowed to increase government control over utilities. Even after The Great Depression, the TVA was cited by Reagan as one of the problems of big, inefficient government. But I'm not surprised you're a big fan of the project. Tenchusatsu
