Cousin Ike:

The information that filters down to this small little town in Texas is making me very suspicious that the presence of Saddam Hussien is increasingly being felt in the futures market and the broader market as both an influence and as a participant.

As the futures go , so goes the market.

Could it be that the Iraq leader is financially profiting in this unstable global situation by attempting to accelerate the feelings of unrest and unease ?
His military might is just that ----a might.
His influence to rattle the sabre is much more powerful than his ability to implement the fact.
His ability to profit monetarily is increased.

I've come to the conclusion (unproven) that he has profited greatly in the years since the aborted military effort in the Desert War due to his buying and selling in advance of market movements in areas which he can exert enormous influence to make said markets react.
It is now my conclusion (equally unproven) that he can now profit in the same manner with the market as a whole.

Comments ? from anyone ?

Regards---Nemer
