I respectfully submit that you are off the reservation!

The lesson isn't that it's OK to cheat. The lesson is that if you do, there are consequences. The rules were followed!

Why do we have yellow cards? Any foul is cheating! Why not red card everyone who gets a yellow card. What kind of an example does that set for children?

Personally, I could care less what example athletes set for society. I take it as a challenge to set my kids straight. I show them what goes on, how to deal with it and how to overcome it. I call it parental leadership!

Part of being a parent is teaching kids how to be responsible in spite of everything they see in the world of sports, on tv and in real life. I never sheltered my kids from anything! They saw, I explained and I kicked some ass when necessary.

Suarez may have gotten his team to the next level, but he wasn't there to help them today, when they needed his help. Justice served!
