I don't see anyone here complaining about the South American (Guatemala i think) referee who was bribed and cost Italy the game in the 2002 WC. Two legitimate goals for Italy were called offside and a very questionable red card against Totti. Now that's cheating. Where was FIFA then and where were most of you at the time?

For those not familiar with the antics of this particular ref, he was eventually barred from refereeing anymore games, but only after he allowed over 20 minutes of extra time in a league game, allowing his locaL team to score.

What Suarez did pales in comparison. It certainly isn't cheating. Ghana had the opportunity to make him pay by winning. An opportunity Italy didn't have in 2002.
