Interesting letter from a large AVNW investor: finance.yahoo.com I agree with their assessment that AVNW is undervalued. Shares of AVNW seems to be a steal at current prices. Patient investors with available cash should take note. I also agree that I want AVNW management to unlock shareholder value. However, I'm not sure I agree with the approach they suggest to AVNW management. They basically suggest that AVNW abandon certain growth markets (like WiMax) and take other steps to realign expenses with current revenue. If those growth markets were hopeless, I'd certainly agree with them. But I don't have enough information to know what AVNW's prospects are. So I hope Kissner takes a good look at their recommendations, but I ultimately hope he doesn't discard good future opportunities just to show better short-term financial results. These are the kinds of strategic decisions only the CEO can make... I don't think this investor has enough information to properly assess the company's prospects in those markets. WiMax is big stuff, I'd like to see AVNW get a good chunk of that market.
