1. Donavan McNabb is only celebrated because he is black. O.K., he never won a superbowl. So, he and Dan Marino are schmucks. I happen to think that both are pretty good quarterbacks, but Rush's position is defensible. Not defensible enough to keep his job at ESPN, but defensible enough for what passes for journalism on his show.

That is not correct, Rush did not say that. He said that McNabb was over rated, not that he was celebrated because he was black. Furthermore he said that this was because journalists did so because journalists desired black quarterbacks to do well. He also stated that there is noting wrong with that, just a fact. So I don't see anything racist here.

Blacks have an easier time making it in America than do other races. That must be why they control Wall Street and the Oil Industry. In politics, there is one black senator who will not be a senator after November. This comment by Rush is simply KKK nutjobism.

That was not in reference to CEO jobs, though there are black CEO's. This was about affirmative action and other programs and attitudes which make it easier for blacks to get hired at low and midlevel jobs. There is really no debate that this makes it easier for blacks to get jobs, that is what it was designed to do. Now he does appose affirmative action. As for myself, it does at least need to be phased out in the near future.
