It's not just Mexico. If you're a foreign visitor (or suspected of being one) in virtually any country in the world you're required to carry a psssport or visa (i.e, "papers").

Arizona is hardly the first state to enable local police to assist in enforcement of immigration laws. Missouri already has a law on the books (so why isn't Obama suing them, is it because they tend to vote closely in presidential politics). Rhode Island also recently passed an AZ-style law. This will pass through the SCOTUS and become law. All the screeching from the left in the world won't change that.

Talk to me about greasing the skids for illegals to become citizens more easily after the borders are shut. Until then we're far to big a money magnet for the uneducated masses from the south and elsewhere to offer amnesty, no matter how badly the Dems need the voters.
