Ann Coulter came out in support of Michael Steele and against the Republicrook establishment. And, against the war in Afghanistan. Several points about Apple Annie's latest "i was against it before I was for it."

1. Michael Steele was factually wrong. Coulter says it is stupid to think Steele didn't know that Bush started the war in Afghanistan. Except, that is what he said. He later admitted he misspoke about it. But Ann says he didn't say it. A minor point, but one that shows Ann thinks facts are for idiots.

2. Ann supported the war in Iraq. newshounds.us How can anyone support the war in Iraq, where there were no or very few members of al Qaida, but hate the war in Afghanistan, where al Qaida planned the 9/11 attacks? Makes zero sense, except as a way to attack Obama and GOPers she doesn't like and who have more successful newspaper columns.

3. Neither she nor Steele nor anyone who opposes the war in Afghanistan explains what we will do once we leave and the Taliban throws Osama a victory parade in Kabul? If I were sure that we would bomb the crap out of the city on that day, then I would want us to withdraw from Afghanistan.
