What you are totally blind to is the impact this will have on legal American citizens who will be subject to aribtrary police harassment, at a minimum, and potential false incarceration and/or deportation. Case in point, I have a brother-in-law, American born and raised, military veteran, 25 year aerospace engineer. Happens to of the Hispanic persuasion, and of late a defector from the GOP. He now is afraid to leave his home without his passport. I damn sure never want to live in an America that has such arbitrary rules, exercisable at the whim of some racist cop, to demand on site proof from me of my right to be here. If you don't understand the deep seated resentment this is arousing in the legal Hispanic community you are as tone deaf as the rest of the Phoenix crowd. Oh, I forgot. That is your crowd.
