Note that it is gold and silver - this can be good for Platinum and palladium. ;-)

Pretty stupid to have done this in an election year.

There is a good chance that the Democrats will effectively loose the House, they may have a thin majority, but that majority would be based of conservative Dems (blue dogs, Clinton (Bill) Democrats, and similar) that very little liberal legislation could get through the House.
