7/9/10 Update
The Bulls on Wall Street were having about as much fun as those in Pamplona this week. But as one party pooper put it, “we know what eventually happens to Pamplona bulls.”
In any case, it was nice to see some green for a change. And at Friday’s close, the Nasdaq Composite Index was down -3.20% YTD (vs. down -7.82% YTD a week ago) and the Nasdaq Biotech Index was down -2.84% YTD (vs. down -6.24% YTD a week ago), while the Contest median was down -3.71% YTD (vs. down -8.20% YTD a week ago).
Thanks to IDIX, DEWDIL's portfolio (up 38.69% YTD) had a great week and remains our Contest leader, with FILO's portfolio (up 29.39% YTD) and ROCKY's portfolio (up 20.90% YTD) holding on to the No. 2 & No. 3 spots.
At Friday's close, 11 of the 32 Contest portfolios were in the black with 16 of the 32 topping the NBI.
