Ted, Obama was going to close down Gitmo his first day in office. He could have, just by ordering it. Before anyone could object, he could have moved all those prisoners to Alcatraz.

He didn't.

Why not?

Has he disappointed you at all?

Of course. I want out of Afghanistan so bad I can taste it. I was sorely disappointed when he extended our stay.

Having said that, you haven't heard me speak on the down low about Obama.....now have you? Think, Bentway, you are one of 300 million Americans. You think whomever you elect is going to do everything exactly the way you want it. Grow up! You should be electing someone because you respect his thinking and his ability to make sound decisions, not to cater to your every desire. He's doing what he considers to be best for this country. Some times you may not agree.....so what?

I could understand your comments if he was a screwup like Bush..........but he couldn't be more opposite if he tried.

So guess what, bentway, I have Obama's back. And will continue to do so until he does something so bad.....so extreme.....something like Katrina or invading Iraq..........that I revisit my estimation of him. In the meantime, Gitmo doesn't even come close to bothering me.

And don't ever forget what the choice is......Bush heavy! God help us if that comes to past.
