I meant that investors had over-reacted to the negotiations and that the stock price had become undervalued relative to the fundamentals of the company. Same person that picked this also picked Dexter, GM and Dresser for me within the past 4-5 months, both have done extremely well. This manager is from the buy-and-hold/value/fundamentals school of investment. Buying out-of-favor stocks often means that short-term results may be mediocre until the general perception comes around.
