That's all correct, Wayne.

Plus, when the bought-and-paid-for politician retires or is finally voted out, he/she is usually rewarded with a very lucrative and cushy "consulting" job or a position on a company's board of directors. There, they typically rake in millions regardless of how terrible the company's results are or how errant their business decisions are.

In addition, they can be assured to have their memoirs published and pushed to the fawning masses for millions more in earnings. They are also wisked around the world on the talk circuit for additional wealth and stroking of their bloated egos.

They also enjoy a get-out-of-jail-for-free card for the remainder of their lives.

I doubt that such arrangements are even spoken of or promised these days. It simply is not necessary to bring it up. The arrangement simply happens with such regularity that a politician innately understands what he/she must do in order to please the slave owners and to selfishly position himself/herself favorably for life under their master's care. To hell with the voters they represent, as they routinely illustrate with their congressional votes!

They only care about themselves, and they willingly submit to being bought and paid for by the slave owners!

The politicians have sold their own souls to the slave owners and are now holding loaded guns to the heads of the slaves below; slaves who had damned well better grovel, submit, and obey!
