I admire Ingersoll immensely? LOL You are demented. In your mind, Robert Green Ingersoll is the greatest man who ever lived .... I suppose his readings gave you the courage to rebel against God and thats why he is so important to you. "A Union colonel in the Civil War, an eloquent lawyer, and a politician who ... but for his habit of giving speeches mercilessly revealing religion's absurdities ... might have been the Republican Party's candidate for Governor of Illinois" Whoops, with that "might have been" you just admitted what I've been telling you: Ingersoll was a bitter fool obsessed with quarrels his disagreeable father got into. That irrational bitter hatred prevented him from ever holding an elective office, something he might have aspired to otherwise. Instead his greatest accomplishment in life was helping some grafters avoid prosecution. Thats not the least bit controversial. I challenged you to name any real accomplishments of Ingersoll's and you've repeatdly failed to do so.
