In my town in Alaska, for the first time in 40 years the summer has been warm day and night. I am guessing the reason is that last year was so warm, and the winter so mild, and then an early warm spring again this year, melted all the snow on top of so our 3500 foot mountaains, so they cannot cool the breezes in the afternoon.

In years apast even on hot days in the afternoon a old breeeze would always come up. Not this year. Solid warmth day and night.
