Losing Peavy is a big blow for the Sox. They brought up Daniel Hudson, who gave up five earned runs in four innings this afternoon. Luckily, the Sox pounded out five homers and beat Kansas City 15-5 to take over first place at the break. They have now won eight straight after winning 11 straight two weeks ago. Not bad for a team that was 9 1/2 out in early June.
