HOW about the Bush war in Afghanistan ?

It is my view that if Obama and the large majority of Democrats in Congress want to remove funding for Afghanistan, they have the power to do that. Because Obama campaigned on Afghanistan being a "war of necessity," the funding, and in fact escalation of troop levels, continues.

In the coming weeks, the Obama administration will be pushing the Democratic controlled congress to spend additional money on Afghanistan. I think Obama will prevail with his request.
