How does cutting taxes reduce the national debt? Isn't that how we GREW the national debt? You aren't STILL a supply-sider, are you?

Please examine the debt contributions of your favorite (R) tax-cutting presidents! Reagan and Bush II - (table)

If not for THEM, we probably wouldn't HAVE any national debt. No one likes to pay taxes, but let's BURY the fairy tale that cutting taxes raises revenue, every time. It did when Kennedy cut the top rate from 91% to 70%, but it hasn't EVERY other time.

Let's try it again when that top rate hits 90%!
