Looks like the minutes are no longer available thru Walmart in my area, but available at Kmart & Radio Shack It is very economical. I do not use, but if you do not use the phone that often, I see where there could be tremendous savings. 50 minutes for $9.99 monthly It does seem that the base plans at the major carriers are getting close to being comparable to tracfone: $40 per month for Verizon wireless for 450 minutes: verizonwireless.com I have posted here that my monthly bill is now over $225, 4 phones with another son joining at the end of this month, so tha should go to around $240.......(ouch)
