I've never drawn unemployment but I've been involved in many, many unemployment hearings. So, yes, I know, better than most.

You cannot hand people free money and then say, "If you go get a job I'll quit giving it to you", and expect them to get a job.

I understand......you're talking about Republicans. You give them free money and they will steal in the future instead of working. However, for the rest of us, its a way to get by until jobs start opening up.

Mice will starve themselves in order to get cocaine. And the amount of cocaine they receive doesn't alter their willingness to do so.

You are talking about a very small segment of the population.
