I do remember, years ago, when the local news in Dallas found these people were delivered to choice street corners by a van, which they followed back to a warehouse in N. Dallas. Tens of these signholders showed up every morning where they were delivered to their location -- all with identical signs.

Such a racket.

You gotta be a sap to fall for it. When I first saw it I must have been about 20, and I'm certain the thought that entered my mind was, "if you would spend half the time looking for a job you spend standing on the corner, you wouldn't have a problem".
