I don't think polls mean much right now. What DOES mean something is CASH and ORGANIZATION and Daniels is certainly lacking in both. Yet Mitt Romney probably has the best organization that money can buy but he ain't setting "hearts and minds" on fire and probably NEVER will. I don't know if Daniels wants it or has the personality to attain it, but I think he has a good deal of cred with a lot of movers and shakers in the Republican Party. He also has the "executive thing" having been a governor. It probably all comes down to what the MONEY people want along with the RELIGIOUS people and now the TEA PARTY people. You don't have to be a superstar with all those groups but you can't ALIENATE any of them either.
