I was thinking about a .264 but what was for sale was the 7mm. Longest shot was at 300 yards. Trying to chase off a sheep killing dog. He was trotting along a ridge and I held dead on. The bullets smacked about a foot behind him and sure ran him off. 30 years ago I built a .22/250. Now that's a flat shooting puppy.
