Ron-I have some concern about the qtr,and sold my small position
today.I was also concerned about the prospects for 1998,specifically
the possibility of weak sales and earnings.
Deswell must have Japanese customers(indirectly,at least thru Ntaif),
and the Japanese business outlook looks grim,at least for the next
6 months.In addition,Ntaif might sell some more Deswell to try and
make the 4th qtr look better(of course,it does not work).
Thats my take on Deswell.Keep in mind I was wrong about Ntaif's
operating earnings.
