"The GOP guts the bills and the Dems declare victory with palliatives. What a joke the whole of Congress is." What's even sadder is the majority (D)'s will get the boot this election because of party of NO. In every case, how much more could have been accomplished had there been just a few more (D)'s to pass these bills while they still had some stones? Having a majority in the House, the (R)'s will have no ability to pass any legislation, but will have subpoena power. Look for investigations out the wazoo, reminiscent of the Clinton administration.
