"I now sit in a livingroom that the previous owners painted red and gold." TED! It must really be tough if you can't afford a can of PAINT! ( Tip: Check all your local building supply and paint stores for mis-mixed custom colors. When you find some you like, (a dab of the color is on the top) buy them at prices often as low as $5 a gallon for premium paint that goes for $30 a gallon, will cover the old paint in one coat and last forever..)
