She is not bipolar as I have known persons like her. SHE is a BINGE alcoholic... SHe had two years of sobriety and gave it all up for that one day of drinking half a gallon in a few hours. Her husband saved her life twice while she was married. I have saved her life twice while we have lived together. The person this is the most difficult on is ME.. I even gave up my drinking to assuage her and I also changed our eating habits to two meals a day the second at early afternoon as cocktails are too inviting at night and I was always ... when I was working, a two martini's before dinner person. Alcoholism is in our genes... But right now she seems to be the only one in the family afflicted . Terrible situation. I never know. Appreciate your interest. ML
