E+Y, I have personally experienced what it is like to be involved in such affairs and my suspicion is that PEGA consulted E+Y and asked them about the issue and E+Y didn't do much work because accountants don't like to offer opinions unless there is a full audit. Auditors will look the other way and if you start quizzing them they just fall back on the old "are you asking us to do a mid-year audit" doublespeak which is just an excuse for looking the other way and not taking any responsibility unless there is a formal, fully-paid audit. Then they probably found out about this payment from PEGA to FDC and had to do some work.
