Tying the tails of a thousand foxes must be somewhat difficult? Obviously they could not be tied in a linear fashion as then you would be tying a tail to a nose! I can picture a crew of trained Conservation Officers tying together perhaps 15 foxes by their tails (if they were using tranquilizers)--but tails only grow so long you know. And as soon as you light fire to the first tail all Hell is going to break loose. It sounds like something from Aesop’s fables but YOU think it is Holy Writ, of course! Don’t you?!! ;-)
