I am clueless about the truth of it, but it's old history.

It is wicked old history, shameful old history, pathetic old history, sickening old history, disgusting old history, and I and many other Southeast Asian Combat Veterans (including more than a few who were present and witnessed many of these men being captured alive) still believe every old word of it is true.

IMO the real problem for American politicians who favored making the war in Laos (and later denied everything) was Laos had been declared neutral, by the UN, before we began our build-up. If the truth was revealed many American politicians would, in my opinion, have been declared international war criminals.

I'll be ok with McCain falling now so long as his partner in this, Kerry, falls with him.
