Dan: I'm a fellow Yank. I'm not sure what the Canadian laws are but Ibelieve the 30 day wash sale rule also applies up north (Paul Sarnoff seemed to indiacte this in his GSA newsletter last year when he advised tax-loss selling). If that is the case the last day to sell via the wash rule is Dec 1st; for a non-wash loss I believe up to yr end. In any event here is some unsolicited jr's I'll be adding to my current positions in the next 30 days: Northern Crown Mines (V), Britannia Gold (V), and Queenstake Resources (T). I bought more Jaba (Alberta) today at the stupid cheap px of CN$0.38 (see JABA thread). Anyone else out there got any? MUDMAN
