Went to the mall yesterday After retailers HAD been forced to heavily discount last Xmas and later touting their returning to lean inventories and less discounting earlier in the year, we saw a restocking boom in Q2.(CSX will tell you about that) Well...guess what's back in massive fashion at a mall near you? 3/4ths of floor space dedicated to 75% off summer apparel Lot of inventory to unload and make way for overload of fall merchandise ordered by myopic, irrationally exuberant buyers
