All I know is that I and some others I know were willing to take other jobs, even temp. ones. It didn't work. Have you ever been on unemployment? If you don't make an effort to find a job, you don't get paid. You can even be required to pay back any unemployment you have received if they think you haven't put in good faith effort. It seems to me that you and the other Republicans are just working on pure thought experiments without any real world information.
