CJ, let me back up a little bit. When was the last time you went to Las Vegas?

It's incredible the amount of construction and development is going on there, even during a recession. There was one huge resort called the Aria being built smack in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. With literally thousands of new rooms, the Aria takes the extravagance of the area to a whole new level.

The question is: Why does Las Vegas need more?

Specifically, I don't know why Harry Reid needs to bail out the developers of CityCenter (or Town Center, or whatever it's called), but I think the influence he wielded is just plain sick. Sure, he "preserved" thousands of jobs, but who's really benefitting? The politically-connected developers, MGM, and all the other rich fat cats who think they're doing the local economy a "favor."

Give me a freakin' break. The stimulus is a slush fund, pure and simple.
