John, clearly the fast growing need by all of mankind for energy to live more like us is being satisfied by rapidly increasing use of fossil fuels and IMHO it is the cause of global warming-climate change. The consensus of scientists say the rising CO2 in our atmosphere is a serious danger to our planet and I believe them. To believe this is a "scam" by science is ludicrous

Now we see that this major need for energy when satisfied by more and more risky/dirty search for fossil fuels can clearly destroy? the way of life and the economics of an entire region of our country when we continue to depend on the same energy source that is already fouling our atmosphere, changing our climate/weather and also fouling our land and seas.

And to add to the planet dangers we know that this form of energy and the search and recovery of it cause is a danger to the physical security of our country and its people. And we are spending enormous amounts of country wealth (not corporate wealth) to keep the supply coming from very dangerous parts of the world.

IMHO, they are all connected...global warming/climate change, Macondo spills and our country security.

We cannot get off fossil fuels fast enough and it should have been our number one priority on 9/12 when the country was as united as it ever will be.
