Obama is simply echoing what is already happening in the Washington, D.C. area and has been happening since the first Metro Trains were installed in the 1980's. The whole metro system on the Virginia side has been under construction for decades. By 2012, end of, the metro system along the Dulles Airport Corridor to Tysons Corner and to Reston and the environs will be completed. (Not without controversey) It is anticipated that more government style buildings will appear near these sites-------thus it is fair to assume that that the Federal Government will grow as more satellite offices are built in these areas for various agencies.
