Re: "Tax cuts don't have a cost."

That's (unfortunately) what the GOP keeps saying --- but history keeps proving them wrong over and over again, ad infinitum.

If SPENDING is cut *simultaneously* with cuts to taxes --- so that deficits are not created and debt piled up higher and higher, and interest on that debt always climbing higher and higher --- then, from a FISCAL point-of-view the statement would be true. And 'tax cuts would not have a cost'.

But it seems that the GOP (and, lets' be fair, many/most Dems as well!) ALWAYS WANTS TO HAVE IT'S CAKE AND EAT IT TOO....

And, (sadly), *always* refuses to cut spending sufficiently to balance the fiscal cost of whatever tax cut they push....

TRUTH is most politicians always LIE about wanting to 'cut deficits'.

But that's mostly crap-ola... sound bites for the ignorant.

The most important thing for them is their pet SPENDING PROGRAMS.

Each political party has 'em... (it's just that they each favor a slightly different mix of spending.)
