Question: Is there any particular reason/benefit to wait for a QCOM supported tablet/notebook/Smartbook rather than buying an IPad now?

I was waiting for a Mirasol display, but that was originally promised for late-summer or fall of this year. Now they're due first or second quarter of next year, and it's not clear if they'll first show up in phones, e-readers or tablets.
