I may be wrong but i do not think the inclusion on the W-2 form is going to cause the health insurance to be added to your income. Most likely this will be provided so that the IRS can assess the Cadillac tax. Otherwise how would the government know who owes it and who doesn't. Not defending them. It is a terrible law, but I believe this information is accurate.
