I agree 100%, except to add, Obama made a huge mistake dising Volker, Stiglitz and Krugman for Summers and geightner. Huge mistake.

Remember Krugman and Stiglitz told Obama the stimulus was too small and volker was insulted by forcing him to run memos through Rahm. So he stopped writing them. What an insult to the 82 year old sage.

But now we will see Obama clearly with regard to Warren where Obama really is. To coin a phrase "Warren is the darling of the left because of her honesty and expertise"; And if Obama does not force Geightner to name Warren to the regulatory commission we liberals are really going to come down on his ass hard!

Classic point about our not having the safety net of Europe. You should be teaching policy sci-lol.

Not being an economist, he listened to them and spewed money in all the recommended directions, just as Bush had.

American business took the opportunity of the Great Recession to shed all the inefficient fat and deadwood they had accumulated domestically, and shift a lot of operations overseas to cheaper labor divisions there.

The jobs aren't coming back. That ship has sailed. So, how to deal with continual high unemployment, European levels of unemployment. But, we don't have the European social safety nets.

So, what to do with these people? FU, I've got MINE?
