We. Do. Not. Want. This. Change.

The meme from the Leftern Press this week is that you dumbasses are too dumb to appreciate all the wondrous things that The Won has brought you.

From Agence France Presse: “Obama garners little credit for sweeping change.”

Oh let us give him the credit where credit is due, shall we?

Let us praise his willingness to give what was once the largest corporation in America — General Motors, the makers of Hummers — a bailout worth more than $50 billion so that it could continue to pay to union workers those pensions and other fringe benefits that the company cannot afford.

Let us thank his most vigorous vetting process ever for giving us the first Treasury secretary in history who had not paid his taxes in full and on time.

Let us be grateful for his deft handling of the economy. Why if we did nothing, unemployment would reach 8% today. Instead, he has it at a more robust 9.5%. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Let us congratulate him on bringing race relations up to the levels they were in the 1970s. Free Huey!

Let us weep tears of joy for his stoic support of a health insurance program that 60% of the people now want to repeal immediately.

Let us fully appreciate how he added $3 trillion to the national debt in less than 1 1/2 years as president.

Let us pay homage to his financial reform bill which was written by lobbyists and the senator and congressman they own.

From Agence France Presse: “History often shows a delay between a president acting on his agenda and getting credit for it.”

Oh, do not worry. He will get full credit in November. And it will be historic.
