It is for Europe, America and Israel alone that they proscribe nationalism as the road to Auschwitz; they will not judge the non-Westerner.

Apparently, "deep" political thinkers remain unthinkingly Eurocentric. When it comes to non-Westerners, they do not judge them because, unconsciously, they consider them primitives and barbarians. They still receive plenty of multiculti "respect" -- but in time, it is believed, those noble barbarians will see the light. For now, it's better to thread lightly with them.

The author's theory about the post WWII paradigm is interesting and I think contains a lot of truth. It is possible that the recent evidence of the probable long term non-viability of the supranational EU may be the beginning of the end of that paradigm.
